The DB15 Wide-Body Plastic Cover is a specialized, high-capacity D-Sub housing designed to enclose and protect standard 15-pin D-Sub connectors utilizing thick, multi-core, or heavily shielded cables. Molded from high-impact, flame-retardant ABS plastic, this wide-profile shell offers an expanded internal cavity that accommodates larger wire bundles, extra shielding tape, or internal electronic components (like bypass capacitors or pull-up resistors) without crushing the connections.
Equipped with a heavy-duty, adjustable internal strain-relief clamp and long thumbscrews, it ensures excellent mechanical protection and a secure, toolless locking interface for heavy-duty industrial data lines.
