KYORITSU KEW 3007A Insulation / Continuity Tester
The KYORITSU KEW 3007A is a handheld, microprocessor-controlled digital tester designed to measure both insulation resistance and continuity in electrical circuits. Encased in a robust, dust- and drip-proof (IP54) housing, it delivers test voltages of 250 V, 500 V, or 1000 V DC for insulation checks and up to 12 V DC for continuity tests. Its dual-integration circuitry ensures stable readings across a wide temperature and humidity range, while built-in safety features comply with IEC 61010-1 (CAT III 300 V) and related standards for low-voltage distribution systems.
Equipped with a 30-point bar graph, live-circuit warning buzzer, AUTO NULL, and auto-discharge, the 3007A simplifies complex testing routines. The TRAC-LOK mode (exclusive to the 3007A) locks output once a stable reading is detected, conserving battery life. A back-lighted LCD facilitates work in dim environments, and an auto power-off prevents unintended battery drain.
