Description
Insulated Ring Terminal Connector (6.3mm)
Product Overview
The Insulated 6.3mm Ring Terminal is a heavy-duty wire termination connector engineered to establish highly secure, permanent bolt-on or screw-down connections. Featuring a closed-loop ring stamped from premium, high-conductivity brass or copper, this terminal is encased in a rigid vinyl (PVC) insulation sleeve that isolates the wire barrel.
Unlike open-ended spade terminals, the closed-ring design ensures the terminal cannot accidentally slip off or pull away from the termination stud, even if the mounting screw or nut backs out due to extreme physical vibration or thermal expansion.
Key Features
-
Failsafe Closed-Loop Design: Provides maximum mechanical security; the terminal remains locked on the post until the fastening nut or bolt is entirely removed.
-
Flared Insulation Sleeve Entry: Designed with a smooth, funnel-shaped barrel entry that guides stranded wire smoothly into the crimping section, preventing wire bending or stray strands outside the terminal.
-
Internal Wire-Lock Serrations: The inner core of the metal crimp barrel features micro-grooves that bite firmly into wire strands upon crimping, ensuring excellent tensile pull-out strength and high conductivity.
-
Electro-Tin Plated Core: Coated with a uniform layer of tin to provide excellent resistance against oxidation and corrosion, ensuring long-term signal integrity in humid or demanding settings.
