The UNI-T UT381 is a handheld light meter designed to measure illumination levels in indoor and outdoor environments. With a relatively long, narrow body, it includes a large sensor window (often covered by a protective mirror cap) at the top so the light can enter properly. The front panel includes a sizable LCD display which shows the measured light value, plus additional indicators such as unit type, max/min readings, data hold, and more. The device is built to be held comfortably, with buttons placed under the display and a casing that gives a good grip, suitable for field use or laboratory benches.
