Product Overview
The DB25 Plastic Cover (also known as a D-Sub hood or shell) is a rugged, protective housing engineered to enclose, strain-relief, and insulate standard 25-pin D-Sub connectors. Molded from high-impact, flame-retardant ABS plastic, this two-piece split-shell cover shields sensitive solder joints or crimp terminations from mechanical stress, dust accumulation, and accidental short-circuits.
Equipped with an adjustable internal strain-relief clamp and long thumbscrews, it provides a secure, toolless locking interface for custom serial data lines, parallel printer cables, and industrial automation control harnesses.
